Veaceslav Posmac made his Sheriff debut on July 9, 2017 in a 5-0 win over Zaria and he did remarkably well to score on his debut. The 188-cm tall defender plays for Moldova as well and he made his debut for the national team in a 2-1 win over Kyrgyzstan on June 14, 2013.

The Moldovans were beaten by Georgina in front of home fans in Chisinau, but the following year the team recorded their biggest win on the international stage as they rolled over Pakistan 5-0 in Amman, Jordan.
The former Soviet republic have yet to qualify for the finals of the World Cup or the European Championship, but they recorded a couple of thrilling wins in the past.
