Luxembourg will be looking to bounce back from a 2-0 loss to Turkey when they take on Faroe Islands in their fourth group game. Luxembourg are eyeing their fourth win of the process, but they will have to prove their worth on the field. Sheriff Tiraspol midfielder Sebastien Thill is widely expected to return to the starting XI, while Gerson Rodrigues will continue to lead the line for the home team.
Faroe Islands, on the other hand, aim to build on a 2-1 win over Lithuania. The visitors proved their worth in Saturday’s clash, but seeing that they often struggle on the travels, we are tempted to put our money on Luxembourg this time out. Born in Luxembourg on October 19, 1992, David Turpel is a striker who plays for F91 Dudelange. Over the years Turpel has established himself as a one of the best attackers in Luxembourg and he is likely to play an important role in Dino Toppmoller’s team in the 2018/2019 Europa League campaign.
David Turpel represents Luxembourg on the international stage and it has to be noted that he scored his first goal for the national team in the Euro 2016 qualifiers. Turpel found the net against Macedonia, but that did not help Luxembourg avoid defeat in Skopje. He scored his second goal for the Luxemborurg national team in a friendly against Albania in June, 2017.
Luxembourg eventually won the match 2-1. His preferred foot is right, whilst his main position is centre-forward. The 188cm-tall striker has 10 caps for Luxembourg U21 team, scoring one goal in the process.

Faroe Islands gained membership of FIFA on July 2, 1988 and they played their first official game on August 24 against Iceland. They were beaten by the Icelanders in Akranes, but two years later they recorded probably the most significant victory in the history of the national team as they defeated Austria 1-0 in Euro 1992 qualifiers.
Faroe Islands have yet to qualify for a major tournament, but they have been making progress year by year. The Landsliðið play their home games at Torsvollur and the capacity of the venue is 6.000. Faroe Islands recorded their biggest win against Gibraltar on March 1, 2014 (4-1) and they suffered their biggest defeat in 1996 when they were beaten 8-1 by Yugoslavia in front of home fans.
In the 2016 European Championship qualifiers Faroe Islands recorded a double victory over Greece, but the minnows eventually failed to book their place at the showpiece tournament in France.
