Our prediction for this Netherlands Eredivisie match:
Cars Jeans Stadion will host Saturday’s clash between Den Haag and Heracles. The hosts are eager to escape the relegation zone, but given their display in a 3-0 loss to Heerenveen, we do not believe that punters can find value in betting on the home side. You should bear in mind that Den Haag have yet to record a win at home ground this season. Heracles, on the other hand, aim to build on a 2-1 win over Zwolle.
The Black and Whites did well to put an end to their three-match winless run in the Eredivisie, and they are surely capable of beating Den Haag behind closed doors. Since German tactician Frank Wormuth should have a full squad to choose from, we believe that punters can find value in betting on the visiting team. Turkey international Sinan Bakis is widely expected to lead the line for the visitors.
Highlighted Player (Ravel Morrison):
Ravel Morrison is a product of the Manchester United football academy, who played for various European clubs before joining Den Haag in 2020. Morisson spent his youth career at Man Utd, but he did not see any game action with the Red Devils in the Premier League.
The attacking midfielder played for the likes of West Ham, Birmingham City, QPR, Cardiff City, Lazio, Atlas, Ostersund, Sheffield Utd, and Middlesbrough before moving to the Netherlands. Morisson made his Den Haag debut in a 2-0 loss to Vitesse on October 18, 2020. Speaking of his international career, it has to be noted that the Den Haag No. 5 has four caps with the England U21 team.
He played for the U16, U17, and U18 teams as well. Ravel Morrison has a dual citizenship, and, as a result, he is eligible to play for both England and Jamaica at senior level.
Highlighted Team (Heracles):
Heracles is a professional Dutch club based in Almelo. The club was formed back in May 1903 and named after Heracles, the demigod son of Zeus. From 1974 to 1998 the club played under the name of SC Heracles ’74. The Heraclieden’s home colours are black and white, while blue is the dominant colour of their away shirt.
Twente are considered one of the club’s main rivals in the Netherlands. Speaking of the club’s achievements, it has to be noted that Heracles have won two Eredivisie trophies (1926/27, 1940/41). In the 2011/12 season they made it to the Dutch Cup final. Heracles faced PSV in the title game, with the Dutch giants proving to be a big catch for the underdogs.
PSV won the game 3-0. In the 2016/17 season Heracles participated in the Europa League, with the team suffering elimination to Arouca in the third qualifying round. Everton is leading the club’s all-time goal-scoring chart with 77 goals.
