Our prediction for this Netherlands Eredivisie match:
Go Ahead Eagles will look to bounce back from a 2-0 loss to Ajax when they take on PSV in the Eredivisie round 24. Paul Simonis’ men have been impressive at home ground in 2025, winning four of their last five league games, but they are still seen as underdogs in Saturday’s showdown. Bear in mind that defender Gerrit Nauber serves a one-game ban due to accumulation of yellow cards.
The title holders, on the other hand, are determined to melt Ajax’s advantage in the Eredivisie table. As PSV have failed to win the previous three league matches, this has to go down as a must-win game for Peter Bosz’s troops. Anyhow, away win should be considered as Go Ahead Eagles suit PSV. It has to be noted that the reigning champions have been defeating The pride of the Ijssel Kowet constantly since 1992. Ricardo Pepi continues to miss out with injury for the away team, while both Malik Tillman and Sergino Dest are major doubts.
Highlighted Player (Luuk de Jong):

The 26-year-old Dutch striker Luuk de Jong is considered one of Europe’s deadliest strikers with his incredible return of goals in games he spends playing. Luuk de Jong began his football career at De Graafschap in 2008, but moved on to Twente only a year later.
The tally of 39 goals in 76 league appearances earned him a transfer to Borussia Monchengladbach, but his spell in Germany ended in disappointment. Bundesliga club attempted to revive his career by sending him out on loan to Newcastle United but his stint with the English club yielded even more disappointment and concluded in utter disaster with De Jong playing 12 games without scoring a single goal for the Magpies.
A return to Netherlands and PSV Eindhoven turned out to be a proper hit for the 26-year-old striker who has restored his scoring touch with more than 50 goals for the Boeren after less than 90 games.
