Abe Lenstra Stadion will host Saturday’s Eredivisie game between Heerenveen and Zwolle, the two teams with totally different ambitions in the remainder of the season. Heerenveen did not kick off 2022 in style, with the team losing to Twente on the road, but it is well known that they produce much better showings at home than on the travels. Anyhow, de Superfriezen will not have a better chance than this to return to winning ways.
Key attacker Henk Veerman returns to the starting XI, which is probably the main reason why home win should be considered. The rock-bottom side, on the other hand, desperately needed a win against Willem II, and they managed to get it in style (2-0). Zwolle aim to give fans yet another reason for celebration, but given their poor away record in the 2021/2022 season, we predict that the hosts are going to pick up all three points from the match. All Ryan Koolwijk, Luka Adzic, and Leandro Fernandes have been tested positive for coronavirus, speaking of the away side.

Erwin Mulder is an experienced Dutch footballer who plays for Heerenveen as a goalkeeper. Mulder spent his youth career at R.K.P.S.C, Vitesse Arnhem, and Feyenoord, and he continued playing for the Rotterdam club at senior level.
After making 120 appearances in the Eredivisie with Feyenoord, the 193-cm-tall shot-stopper signed for Heerenveen as a free agent in the summer of 2015. It has to be noted, though, that Erwin Mulder was loaned to Excelsior during his spell with Feyenoord. His next stop was Swansea City where he made 29 league appearances before returning to Heerenveen in 2020.
Erwin Mulder was born in Pannerden on March 3, 1989, and he has three caps with the Netherlands U20 team. He has yet to earn a call-up with the Oranje senior team. The Heerenveen goalkeeper was named in the Netherlands Euro 2012 provisional squad, but after the training with the national team, he failed to make the cut.

Zwolle’s home kit is blue and white, while the colour of their away jersey is green and white. In the 2014/15 season the Blauwingers represented the Netherlands in the Europa League, with the team losing to Sparta Prague in the play-off round.
