Our prediction for this Netherlands Eredivisie match:
Out-of-form NEC Nijmegen will look to put an end to their three-game losing run when they take on AZ Alkmaar in the Eredivisie round 7. NEC made a flying start to the season, winning each of their first three league fixtures, but they do not seem to be at their sharpest ahead of AZ’s visit. The hosts experienced all sorts of problems at the back in a 3-2 loss to Heerenveen and with key midfielder Tjarron Chery missing Sunday’s game through suspension, home win should not be considered.
The Cheese Farmers, on the other hand, played out a thrilling 3-3 draw with Feyenoord at the weekend. Given AZ’s attacking potential and NEC’s difficulties at the back, we believe that gamblers from all around the globe can find value in betting on the visiting team. Defender Seiya Maikuma should be the only absentee in the away team.
Highlighted Team (AZ):
