Our prediction for this Netherlands Eredivisie match:
PSV and Fortuna Sittard face each other at Philips Stadion in a David-vs-Goliath clash. PSV are eyeing their fourth consecutive win and a triumph over Fortuna will see them melt Ajax’s advantage in the Eredivisie standings. A man to watch in the home team will be top scorer Luuk de Jong, who sealed the victory against Twente, while midfielder Ismael Salibari is a major doubt and the 24-year-old midfielder will be assessed ahead of the kick-off.
The visitors, on the other hand, aim to build on a hard-fought 1-0 win over Willem II, but given their ups and downs on the road, we are tempted to place our bets on the title-chasing hosts. In their last meeting in Eindhoven, PSV recorded a routine 3-1 win over Fortuna Sittard and we predict that history is going to repeat itself. Both Aiko and Adewoye are rated doubtful for the visiting team after limping off with injuries in the last league match.
Highlighted Player (Luuk de Jong):

The 26-year-old Dutch striker Luuk de Jong is considered one of Europe’s deadliest strikers with his incredible return of goals in games he spends playing. Luuk de Jong began his football career at De Graafschap in 2008, but moved on to Twente only a year later.
The tally of 39 goals in 76 league appearances earned him a transfer to Borussia Monchengladbach, but his spell in Germany ended in disappointment. Bundesliga club attempted to revive his career by sending him out on loan to Newcastle United but his stint with the English club yielded even more disappointment and concluded in utter disaster with De Jong playing 12 games without scoring a single goal for the Magpies.
A return to Netherlands and PSV Eindhoven turned out to be a proper hit for the 26-year-old striker who has restored his scoring touch with more than 50 goals for the Boeren after less than 90 games.
Highlighted Team (Sittard):

Fortuna Sittard is one of the newer additions to Dutch football as the club was founded on July 1, 1968. During the 1990s talented footballers such as Kevin Hofland, Mark van Bommel, and Fernando Ricksen played for the club, but they failed to close the gap between Dutch giants Ajax and PSV. In 1999, though, the Fortunezen did well to make it to the Dutch Cup final, with the team facing Ajax in the title game.
Amsterdammers defeated Fortuna Sittard 2-0 at De Kuip, with Jesper Gronkjaer scoring a brace. Fortuna Sittard players wear yellow shirts and green shorts when playing at home, while their away kit is white. The Fortunezen host their rivals at Fortuna Sittard Stadion. The venue was built in 1999, and it can hold up to 12,500 spectators.
Aforementioned midfielder Mark Van Bommel is the most notable footballer who played for the club. After ending his spell with Fortuna Sittard in 1999, Mark van Bommel played for the likes of PSV, Barcelona, Bayern Munchen, and Milan.
