Our prediction for this Netherlands Eredivisie match:
Following an expected 3-1 loss to Ajax at Johan Cruijff Arena, VVV-Venlo will look to record their seventh win of the season when they take on Emmen on Matchday 34. Jos Luhukay’s troops failed to secure the Eredivisie survival, meaning that they have nothing to play for in Sunday’s clash. German international Meritan Shabani remains in the recovery room, but he should be the only absentee in the home team.
Emmen, on the other hand, desperately needed a win against Heerenveen, and they managed to get one. Considering that Dick Lukkien’s troops are only one point behind the safe zone, we believe that there is a big value in betting on the visiting team. Nikolai Laursen, who scored as a substitute in the 3-1 win over Heerenveen, is pushing for a start, while talented attacker Luciano Carty remains on the sidelines through injury.
