Our prediction for this Portugal Primeira Liga match:
Belenenses will be aiming to put an end to their three-game losing run when they take on Moreirense on day 4 of the new Primeira Liga campaign. O Belem made a slow start to the season, with the team netting only one goal in total to date, and, no doubt, they are low on confidence ahead of the visit of Moreirense. Midfielder Afonso Taira is banned for the match, but he should be the only absentee in the home team.
The visitors, on the other hand, faced a tough fixture list, with the team losing to both Benfica and Braga, while sharing the spoils with Santa Clara. Anyhow, a close encounter is on the cards at Estadio Nacional do Jamor, and we believe that there is a big value in betting on draw. Paulinho is pushing for a start for the visitors after scoring as a substitute in the defeat to Braga.
Highlighted Player (Goncalo Silva):
Born in Barreiro, Portugal, on June 4, 1991, Goncalo Silva is a defender who plays for Belenenses. After starting his youth career at Barreirense, Goncalo Silva moved to Lousada before the start of the 2010/2011 season.
After making 28 appearances in the league for the club, the Portuguese defender joined Atletico Club de Portugal in the 2011/2012 season. In 2012 Goncalo Silva signed a deal with Braga B, but after scoring two goals in 83 appearances for the club, he joined his current club Belenenses in 2015.
The Portuguese footballer made his Primeira Liga debut in on October 26, 2015, in a 1-0 win over Uniao Madeira. His primary position is a centre-back, but he is capable of producing fine displays as a right-back as well. Goncalo Silva has one cap for the Portugal U21 team, but he has yet to make his debut with the senior team. His preferred foot is right.
Highlighted Team (Moreirense):
Moreirense are a Portuguese football club based in Moreira de Conegos. Founded on November 1, 1938, Os verdes e brancos welcome their rivals at Parque Moreira de Conegos Guimaraes, the venue which can hold up to 9,000 spectators.
Moreirense wear green and white shirts and white shorts when playing at home, whilst black and red are the dominant colours of their away kit. In the 2016/2017 season Os verdes e brancos did well to win the Taca da Liga trophy, with the team beating Braga 1-0 in the title game.
Caue scored the winner for Moreirense on the stroke of half time. Moreirense impressed in the 2018/2019 Primeira Liga season, finishing the process in sixth position in the standings. The club missed out on a place in the Europa League on goal difference to Vitoria de Guimaraes. Penafiel are considered one of the club’s main rivals.
