Boavista play host to Braga at their Estadio do Bessa Seculo XXI in the closing match of the Primeira Liga round 23. The Black and Whites aim to recover from a 2-1 loss to Chaves, but they face yet another difficult task against the Reds. Goalkeeper Cesar remains in the recovery room, while Nigeria defender Chidozie Awaziem should be fit for the match.
Braga, on the other hand, aim to move closer to the Europa League berth and given Boavista’s poor performance in the defeat to Chaves, we predict that the visitors are going to pick up all three points from Monday’s encounter. Bruma faces race against the clock to be fit for the match, while both Ricardo Horta and Adrian Marin remain on the sidelines. In Horta’s absence, talented winger Roger Fernandes will keep his place in the starting XI.

Famous Fellow city club Porto are considered Boavista’s main rivals and the two teams face each other in O Derby da Invicta and there have always been fireworks in clashes between the two local rivals.
