Our prediction for this Portugal Primeira Liga match:
Sporting CP will look to retain top position in the standings when they take on Farense in the Primeira Liga round 3 opener. The Lions made a promising start to the season and, no doubt, they are determined to defend their trophy. A man to keep an eye on in the away team will be Viktor Gyokeres, who scored a brace in the 6-1 crushing of Nacional, while boss Ruben Amorim has no fresh injury worries.
Os Leoes de Faro, on the other hand, made a slow start to the season, with the team losing to both Moreirense and Rio Ave. As Sporting have been scoring goals for fun of late, anything but a routine away win would be a big surprise. There are no injury concerns in the home team, but summer signing Dario Poveda is widely expected to return to the starting XI.
