Our prediction for this Portugal Primeira Liga match:
Sporting will be aiming to stay in the title race when they take on Gil Vicente at Estadio Cidade de Barcelos on Matchday 15. The Lions aim to build on a 2-0 win over Boavista, with the team eyeing their tenth consecutive league win. Even though Zou Feddal, Joao Palhinha, Ruben Vinagre, and Jovane Cabral are likely to miss the game with injuries, away win should be considered as the title holders seem to be at the top of their game ahead of the trip to Barcelos.
Gil Vicente have been in a fine form of late as well, with the team beating both Famalicao and Ferreira in the previous two league fixtures. Midfielder Antoine Leautey, who scored a late winner against Ferreira, is pushing for a start, but the France international is unlikely to help the hosts grab something from Saturday’s match.
