Following a 2-1 win over Leixoes in the League Cup, Porto will look to give fans yet another reason to celebrate when they take on Chaves on Friday evening. The Dragons were beaten by Sporting CP in their last league match, with veteran defender Pepe picking up a red card. As a result, the former Real Madrid centre-back misses out through suspension, while fellow defender Ivan Marcano remains on the sidelines with an ACL injury.
Os Valentes, on the other hand, experienced all sorts of problems at the back in back-to-back losses to Estoril (0-4) and Casa Pia (1-3) and given their shaky defence, we predict that the title-chasing hosts are going to pick up all three points from the match. After scoring two goals in 16 appearances for Valencia B, the Spaniard signed a deal with West Ham United in April 2016 for a fee of around £2.4 million. However, he did not see any game action in the Premier League with the Hammers as he was immediately sent on loan to Oxford United.
Toni Martinez played for the likes of Real Valladolid, Rayo Majadahonda, and Lugo on loan as well before signing a three-year deal with Famalicao in the summer of 2019.
