Farense
As expected, Rio Ave were beaten by Benfica in Lisbon on Monday evening, with the team experiencing all sorts of problems at the back in the second half. Rio Ave are not enjoying a season to remember, and, as things stand now, the team’s main goal for the remainder of the season is to secure the Primeira Liga survival. Since Miguel Cardoso’s men are only three points clear of the relegation zone, we believe that there is a big value in betting on the home team.
Farense are fighting hard to avoid the drop to the Portuguese second tier as well. Os Leoes de Faro have been in a fine form of late, but given their poor away record in the Primeira Liga, we believe that home win should be considered. Experienced defender Andre Pinto is banned for the visitors, which is yet another reason why Rio Ave are likely to pick up all three points from the match.

Nicknamed Pele, Judilson Mamadu Tuncara Gomes is a 183-cm-tall midfielder who was born in Aqualva-Cacem Portugal. Despite being born in Portugal, Pele decided to represent Guinea-Bissau on the international stage. Judilson Mamadu Tuncara Gomes made two appearances Portugal U19 team, while receiving a call-up for the U20 team for a friendly against France.
Speaking of his senior debut, Pele played his first match for Guinea-Bissau on June 10, 2017 in a 1-0 win over Namibia. As for his club career, the Guinea-Bissau international played for the likes of Belenenses, Genoa, Milan, Arsenal Kyiv, Olhanense, Benfica, Pacos Ferreira, Feirense, Rio Ave and Monaco before joining Nottingham Forest on loan in 2019.
His main position is defensive midfield, but he is used as a central midfielder as well. Pele’s preferred foot is right and he has a contract with Monaco which should expire on June 30, 2023.

The Leoes de Faro (Lions of Faro) play home games at Estadio da Sao Luis, the stadium with the capacity of 12,000 people. Fellow Algavre clubs Olhanense and Portimonense are regarded as Farense’s biggest rivals. Speaking of the club’s colours, Farense footballers wear black and white shirts when playing at home, while their away kit is mainly green.
In the 2995/96 season Farense represented Portugal in the UEFA Cup, with the team suffering a loss to Olympique Lyon in the first round of the competition.
