Our prediction for this Portugal Primeira Liga match:
Sporting will look to make amends for a heart-breaking 3-0 loss to Porto when they host Chaves to their Estadio Jose Alvalade on Matchday 4. The Lions aim to get back on course as soon as possible, and they have no other choice but to go all guns blazing at Chaves. Pedro Porro is banned for the match, while midfielder Daniel Braganca misses out with injury.
The start of the season has been a mixed bag for Os Valentes, who have collected four from possible nine points to date. Chaves, though, have always been struggling in matched against title-chasing teams, and we do not believe that they are capable of spoiling Sporting’s party in Lisbon. In their last meeting at in the Portuguese top flight Sporting defeated Chaves 3-1. Joao Teixeira misses out through suspension for the visiting team.
