Our prediction for this Portugal Primeira Liga match:
Sporting CP will be aiming to extend their winning run to eleven games when they host Portimonense to their Estadio Jose Alvalade on Matchday 16. The Lions are eager to put an extra pressure on league leaders Porto, and they are likely to go all guns blazing at Paulo Sergio’s troops. Defender Luis Neto is banned for the match, while all Zou Feddal, Ruben Vinagre, and Jovane Cabral should miss out with injuries.
Portimonense, on the other hand, played out a 1-1 draw with Arouca in their last league fixture. Paulo Sergio’s men have already recorded five wins on the road this season, but given Sporting CP’s brilliant winning run, we do not believe that the visitors are going to grab something from the midweek clash. Luquinha is pushing for a start after finding the net in the last league match, while there are no fresh injury worries in the away side.
Highlighted Player (Sebastian Coates):
Born in Montevideo, Uruguay, on October 7, 1990, Sebastian Coates is a 196-cm-tall defender who plays for Sporting CP in Primeira Liga. Speaking of his international career, Sebastian Coastes made his full Uruguay debut against Chile at the 2011 Copa America. La Celeste won the trophy, with the team beating Paraguay 3-0 in the final of the competition at Estadio Monumental Antonio Vespucio Liberti in Buenos Aires. Coates wears the number 4 shirt at Sporting CP, and his preferred foot is right.
