Our prediction for this Premier League match:
Aston Villa play host to Leeds United at their Villa Park in what is expected to be an interesting Premier League game. The Villans did well to beat Everton on the road before the international break, with the team putting an end to their three-match winless run. Aston Villa aim to climb to the top half of the table, and they are likely to adopt an attack-minded approach in Wednesday’s clash.
The Whites, on the other hand, failed to impress in a 1-0 loss to Newcastle United. Since Leeds United are eager to return to winning ways in the Premier League as well, we believe that there is a big value in betting on both teams to scores. Keep in mind, though, that all Greenwood, Bamford, Phillips, Forshaw, and Firpo are injured for the away side, while both Cresswell and Shackleton are rated doubtful.
Highlighted Player (Philippe Coutinho):
Philippe Coutinho is a Brazilian football player born on 12th of June 1992 in Rio de Janeiro. Coutinho started his football career for Vasco da Gama where he played in the youth as well. By the age of 16 Internazionale signed Coutinho but let him play in Brazil until he was 18 years old.
After 2 difficult seasons Internazionale let Coutinho go for a loan period to Espanyol and after 1 season he got transferred to Liverpool for approximately 8 million euro. Coutinho played in several youth teams of Brazil but made his debut for the first team in October 2010.
With a height of only 171cm Coutinho is physically weak. He compensates his physical ability by being very creative, having a great vision and passing. The preferred position of Coutinho is attacking midfielder where he gets easily into the right position to give an assist.
Coutinho won the Italian Suppercoppa, the worldcup for club teams and the World Cup of nations U20. Coutinho was part of the Liverpool team that was able to become second in the Premier League.
Highlighted Team (Leeds United):
Leeds United is one of the clubs that won the FA Cup. The Whites outplayed Arsenal in the final of the prestigious competition back in 1972, but they clinched the League Cup trophy as well. Leeds United faced the Gunners in the 1967/1968 League Cup final and it has to be noted that Terry Cooper scored the winner for the Whites.
Leeds play their home games at Elland Road and the capacity of the stadium is 37,914. The club was founded in 1919 and they have won three First Division (Premier League) trophies ever since (1968/1969, 1973/1974, 1991/1992). Leeds United made it to the Champions League final in 1975, but they were beaten by Bayern Munich in the title clash.
The Whites were impressive under David O’Leary. The likes of Jonathan Woodgate, Lee Bowyer, Harry Kewell, Mark Viduka and Ian Harte were part of the Elland Road outfit back then and they did well to reach the semis of the Champions League in 2001.
