Our prediction for this Premier League match:
Aston Villa and Southampton face each other at Villa Park in what is expected to be one of the most interesting games of Saturday’s program. The Villans quickly bounced back from a 1-0 loss to Watford, with the team beating Brighton 2-0 on the road on Matchday 27. Steven Gerrard’s troops are on the right track to secure the Premier League survival, but they can’t afford any complacency in the remainder of the season.
Marvelous Nakamba is sidelined with injury, while fellow midfielder Bertrand Traore is a major doubt. The Saints, on the other hand, aim to build on back-to-back wins over Everton and Norwich City. Since both Aston Villa and Southampton impressed in their last league fixtures, we believe that both teams to score betting option should be considered. Both Lyanco and Tella are sidelined with injuries, but there are no suspended players in the away side.
Highlighted Player (Philippe Coutinho):
Philippe Coutinho is a Brazilian football player born on 12th of June 1992 in Rio de Janeiro. Coutinho started his football career for Vasco da Gama where he played in the youth as well. By the age of 16 Internazionale signed Coutinho but let him play in Brazil until he was 18 years old.
After 2 difficult seasons Internazionale let Coutinho go for a loan period to Espanyol and after 1 season he got transferred to Liverpool for approximately 8 million euro. Coutinho played in several youth teams of Brazil but made his debut for the first team in October 2010.
With a height of only 171cm Coutinho is physically weak. He compensates his physical ability by being very creative, having a great vision and passing. The preferred position of Coutinho is attacking midfielder where he gets easily into the right position to give an assist.
Coutinho won the Italian Suppercoppa, the worldcup for club teams and the World Cup of nations U20. Coutinho was part of the Liverpool team that was able to become second in the Premier League.
Highlighted Team (Southampton):
Southampton are an English football club that have been playing their home games at St Mary's Stadium since 2001. The Saints were based at The Dell in the past and the capacity of Southampton’s new stadium is 32,505. Southampton wear red and white striped shirts and the colour of the team’s away kit is navy and green.
The Saints have yet to win the Premier League trophy, but they did well to clinch the FA Cup title back in 1976, while participating in the final of the prestigious competition in 1900, 1902 and 2003. Southampton outplayed Manchester United in the 1976 FA Cup final and that is probably the club’s greatest victory ever.
The club are well known for their football academy and Real Madrid superstar Gareth Bale is one of the players who began their football carrier at the St. Mary’s Stadium outfit. Southampton’s fiercest rivals are Portsmouth and the two teams square off against each other in the South Coast Derby.
