Our prediction for this Premier League match:
Chelsea will be aiming to climb to the Champions League berth when they take on Brighton at their Stamford Bridge on Matchday 32. The Blues rolled over Crystal Palace 4-1 in their last league match, and they are likely to stick to their attacking style of play against Brighton. Since Thomas Tuchel can count on key players for Tuesday’s clash, home win should definitely be considered. You should bear in mind that Chelsea are eyeing their 8th home win of the season.
The Seagulls, on the other hand, played out a goalless draw with Everton in their last league match. Brighton are on the right track to secure the Premier League survival, and seeing that the Blues want this win more than the Seagulls, we are tempted to put our money on Thomas Tuchel’s troops. Both March and Lamptey remain on the sidelines with injuries, while Tau and Connolly should be fit to face Chelsea.
Highlighted Player (Timo Werner):
Timo Werner is a German starlet, who began his senior career at Vfb Stuttgart. The German forward, who was born in Stuttgart on March 6, 1996, scored 13 goals in 95 appearances in the league for Die Schwaben and in 2016 he moved to fellow Bundesliga side Leipzig and he impressed with the Red Bulls in the 2016/2017 Bundesliga campaign, scoring 21 goals in the process.
To make things even better for the talented attacker, he represented Germany at the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup and it has to be noted that he provided an assist for Lars Stindl in the title game. Despite the fact that coach Joachim Low rested star players at the tournament in Russia, the Germans eventually won the trophy.
Timo Werner played for the Germany U17 team as well and he won the silver medal with die Mannschaft at the 2012 UEFA European Championship. His main position is centre forward, but he is used as a winger as well. Timo Werner’s contract with Leipzig should expire on June 30, 2020.
Highlighted Team (Brighton):
Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club were formed in 1901. The Seagulls welcome their opponents at Falmer Stadium and the capacity of Brighton’s home ground is 30,750. The stadium was built in 2008 and it was opened in 2011. The venue is known for commercial purposes as American Express Community Stadium.
Brighton & Hove Albion compete in the Premier League and they play in blue and white stripes. The colour of Brighton’s away kit is green. The club made it to the FA Cup final in 1983, but English giants Manchester United proved to be a big catch for the Red Devils.
Brighton’s main rivals are Crystal Palace and the Seagulls have recorded 35 wins over the Eagles. Frank Stapleton, Martin Chivers, Joe Corrigan, Bobby Zamora, Mark Lawrenson, Bobby Smith, John Crumplin and Frank Worthington are notable footballers who played for Brighton in the past. The Albion is Preston’s yet another nickname.
