Our prediction for this Premier League match:
Stamford Bridge will host Wednesday’s football game between Chelsea and Brighton, the two teams who defeated Aston Villa and Brentford respectively in their last league matches. The Blues aim to build on a 3-1 win over the Villans, where Romelu Lukaku proved his worth. The Belgian “beast” is pushing for a start, while all Werner, Havertz, Thiago Silva, and Kante are likely to miss the game through different reasons.
The Seagulls, on the other hand, desperately needed a win against Brentford, and they managed to get one. Brighton did well to put an end to their 11-game winless run, but they will have a big fish to fry in the midweek clash. Since Lukaku returns to Chelsea’s starting XI, we do not believe that the visitors are capable of grabbing something from the match. Both Lewis Dunk and Jeremy Sarmiento remain in the recovery room, while Joel Veltman is a major doubt.
