Our prediction for this Premier League match:
Following a 1-1 draw with Everton at Goodison Park, Crystal Palace will look to get back on course when they take on Burnley in the Premier League round 26. The Eagles aim to put an end to their three-game winless run and we are positive that they will leave their hearts on the field. The likes of Doucoure, Eze, Guehi, Holding, Olise, and Rak-Sakyi continue to miss out with injuries, while Will Hughes should recover in time to face the Clarets.
Burnley, on the other hand, aim to make amends for back-to-back defeats to Liverpool (1-3) and Arsenal (0-5), but given their shaky defence, we predict that the hosts are going to pick up all three points from the match. As for the away side, Aaron Ramsey has joined the likes of Nathan Redmond, Louis Jordan Beyer, and Luca Keleosho in the recovery room.
Highlighted Player (Eberechi Eze):
Eberechi Eze is a talented football player who was born in Greenwich, England on June 29, 1998. Eze started his youth career at Millwall and in the summer of 2016 he moved to Queens Park Rangers, signing a one-year contract with the capital club.
Eze scored 4 goals in 42 appearances for the Hoops in the 2018/2019 Championship campaign, while providing 4 assists for his teammates. His main position is attacking midfield, but he is capable of playing as both right and left midfielder as well. Eze is a footballer of Nigerian descent, but he has yet to make his debut for the Super Eagles in international matches.
Given his place of birth, the 173-cm tall midfielder was eligible to play for the England U20 team and he made his debut for the Three Lions on October 11, 2018 in a 2-1 victory over Italy. His preferred foot is right.
Highlighted Team (Burnley):
Burnley were one of the founding members of the Football League back in 1888. The Clarets did remarkably well to win the FA Cup trophy back in 1914 and the club owners have been trying to bring glory days back to Turf Moor ever since.
Burnley defeated Liverpool in the 1913/1914 FA Cup final and, no doubt, this is regarded as the greatest achievement in the club’s history. The Clarets finished the 2015/2016 Championship campaign in top position in the standings and, as a result, they will participate in the English Premier League in the 2016/2017 season.
Burnley play their home games at Turf Moor and the capacity of the stadium is 21,401. The Clarets have won two Community Shield trophies so far, in 1960 and 1973, but they have yet to clinch the Premier League title. Claret is the dominant colour of the team’s home shirts.
