Aston Villa
High-flying Liverpool will be looking to keep their Champions League hopes alive when they welcome Aston Villa to their Anfield on Matchday 37. The Reds are eyeing their eighth consecutive league win and they are seen as hot favourites to beat the Villans on home soil. A man to keep an eye on in the home team will be Mohamed Salah, who provided three assists for his teammates in a 3-0 win over Leicester City, while all Thiago, Bajcetic, and Keita remain in the treatment room.
Roberto Firmino is a major doubt, but fellow forward Darwin Nunez should recover in time to face Villa. The visitors, on the other hand, aim to build on a 2-1 win over Tottenham. Unai Emery’s troops, though, have been struggling on the travels of late, which is probably the main reason why home win should be considered. The Spanish tactician should have a full squad to choose from.

Mohamed Salah is considered one of the best African players. Salah began his senior career at El Mokawloon, scoring 11 goals in 41 league appearances for the club and in 2012 he moved to Europe, signing a four-year deal with Swiss side Basel.
The pacey winger, who is capable of playing as a striker as well was producing outstanding displays for the RotBlau from 2012 to 2014 and, as a result, Chelsea chiefs decided to sign him on 26 January, 2015 for a fee of £11 million. Mohamed Salah, though, failed to impress in the Premier league and one year later he was sent on loan to Fiorentina.
After making 16 league appearances for the Viola in the Serie A, the left-footed winger signed a loan deal with Roma on 6 August, 2015. The Romans made the contract permanent on 3 August, 2016. Speaking of his international career, Salah made his Egypt debut on 3 September, 2011 in a 2-1 loss to Sierra Leone. It has to be noted that he was named Roma’s player of the season (2015/2016).

Aston Villa is one of the three clubs that dropped to the Championship at the end of the 2015/2016 Premier League campaign. The Villans host their rivals at Villa Park, the stadium that was opened in 1897 and its’ capacity is 42,682. However, it has to be noted that the highest attendance recorded at the stadium was 76,588 when Aston Villa faced Derby County in the FA Cup back in 1946.
Aston Villa’s fiercest rivals are Birmingham City and West Bromwich Albion. Nonetheless, the rivalry between Aston Villa and Wolves and Coventry City is big as well. Aston Villa have won seven First Division (Premier League) trophies, with the team clinching seven FA Cup trophies as well.
