Liverpool will be aiming to build on a 2-0 win over Burnley when they take on Newcastle United in the Premier League round 20. The Reds want to finish 2023 in top position and we are positive that they will adopt an attack-oriented approach in Monday’s clash. Diogo Jota should start from the bench once again despite finding the net in the triumph over Burnley, while the likes of Alexis Mac Allister, Joel Matip, Thiago Alcantara, Andy Robertson, and Stefan Bajcetic remain on the sidelines with injuries.
The Magpies, on the other hand, have been struggling to find their best form of late. Eddie Howe’s troops are still hit by injuries and given their poor defensive performance in a 3-1 loss to Nottingham Forest, home win should be considered. Mohamed Salah is considered one of the best African players. Salah began his senior career at El Mokawloon, scoring 11 goals in 41 league appearances for the club and in 2012 he moved to Europe, signing a four-year deal with Swiss side Basel.
