Brentford
After eliminating Fulham in the FA Cup last 32, Manchester City will look to cement top position in the Premier League table when they host Brentford to their Etihad Stadium. The Citizens are enjoying yet another successful season, but they can’t afford any complacency in upcoming league fixtures. Gabriel Jesus should be fit for the match, while Benjamin Mendy remains on the sidelines through suspension.
Anyhow, Pep Guardiola should field the best possible side against Brentford. The Bees, on the other hand, suffered a heavy 4-1 loss to Everton in the FA Cup at the weekend, and given their four-match losing run in the national championship, anything but a routine home win would be a major surprise. Both Zanka and Fosu are sidelined with injuries, while Mbeumo and Wissa should recover in time to face the title holders.
