Our prediction for this Premier League match:
Wednesday’s football game at City Ground pits together Nottingham Forest and Brighton, the two teams with entirely different ambitions in the season finale. The Reds are fighting hard to secure the Premier League survival, and a win over Brighton could see them escape bottom three. Forest are on a four-game losing run, but their display in a 3-2 loss at Liverpool is surely giving fans a reason for optimism ahead of the midweek clash. Scott McKenna limped off with injury in the Anfield defeat, with Joe Worrall likely to step up.
The Seagulls, on the other hand, aim to build on a 2-1 win over Chelsea. Brighton are eager to stay in the Europa League race, and given their attacking potential, both teams to score betting option should be considered. As for the visiting side, all Veltman, Lamptey, Lallana, Sarmiento, and Moder should miss out with injuries.
Highlighted Player (Michael Dawson):
Michael Dawson is a highly rated defender who started his youth career at Nottingham Forest. He made his first-team debut for the Reds in April 2002 in a 3-2 loss to Walsall. After spending four years at Nottingham Forest, Michael Dawson joined Tottenham Hotspur in 2005 and he went on to make 236 appearances for the capital club, scoring 7 goals and quickly becoming fans’ favourite at White Hart Lane.
After losing his place in the side, the centre-back signed for Hull City in 2014. The English footballer played for the Tigers in the 2014/2015 Premier League campaign and despite the fact that they dropped to the Championship at the end of the season, he decided not to leave the club.
Michael Dawson scored one goal in 32 appearances for Hull City in the 2015/2016 Championship campaign and he helped the Tigers return to the English top flight. Michael Dawson made his England debut in a friendly against Hungary in August, 2010. His main position is centre back.
Highlighted Team (Brighton):
Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club were formed in 1901. The Seagulls welcome their opponents at Falmer Stadium and the capacity of Brighton’s home ground is 30,750. The stadium was built in 2008 and it was opened in 2011. The venue is known for commercial purposes as American Express Community Stadium.
Brighton & Hove Albion compete in the Premier League and they play in blue and white stripes. The colour of Brighton’s away kit is green. The club made it to the FA Cup final in 1983, but English giants Manchester United proved to be a big catch for the Red Devils.
Brighton’s main rivals are Crystal Palace and the Seagulls have recorded 35 wins over the Eagles. Frank Stapleton, Martin Chivers, Joe Corrigan, Bobby Zamora, Mark Lawrenson, Bobby Smith, John Crumplin and Frank Worthington are notable footballers who played for Brighton in the past. The Albion is Preston’s yet another nickname.
