Our prediction for this Premier League match:
Buoyed by a thrilling 5-2 win over Burnley, Tottenham will look to give fans yet another reason to celebrate when they take on Sheffield United on Matchday 5. Spurs are eyeing their fourth consecutive league win and we are positive that they will stick to their attacking style of play. A man to keep an eye on in the home team will be Heung-Min Son, who scored a hat-trick in the last league match, while all Lo Celso, Bryan Gil, and Bentancur are sidelined with injuries.
The Blades, on the other hand, have collected only one point in total from possible 12 and given their shaky defence, we predict that the hosts are going to emerge triumphant in Saturday’s encounter. The likes of Max Lowe, Ben Osborn, John Fleck, and Rhian Brewster miss out with injuries for the visiting team. In their last meeting in London Tottenham hammered Sheffield United 4-0.
Highlighted Player (Heung-min Son):
Over the years Son Heung-Min has established himself as one of the best Asian footballers. Son is a Tottenham Hotspur first-team regular and he played a very important role in Mauro Pochettino’s team in the 2017/2018 Premier League campaign, scoring 12 goals, while making 37 appearances in the process.
The South Korean footballer, who is well known for his speed and a very powerful shot, was born in Chuncheo on 8 July 1992 and he began his youth career at FC Seoul. In 2008 he moved to Hamburger SV, but he made his senior debut for the Bundesliga club two years later. In 2013 he signed a deal with fellow German side Bayer Leverkusen and he scored 21 goals in 62 appearances in the Bundesliga for the BayArena outfit.
In 2015 he signed a five-year contract with Spurs for a fee of £22 million. Son Heung-min made his South Korea debut in a friendly against Syria in 2010.
Highlighted Team (Sheffield United):
Sheffield United are a professional football club that compete in the Championship. The Blades finished the 2016/2017 League One campaign in top position in the standings, with the team collecting exactly 100 points in the process. Sheffield United last competed in the Premier League in the 2006/2007 season and they were more than unfortunate not to secure the top flight survival.
The Blades finished the season in 18th place in the process and it has to be noted that they were level on points with Wigan Athletic, who managed to avoid the relegation to the English second tier. Sheffield United welcome their rivals at Bramal Lane, the stadium which was opened on April 30, 1855. The current capacity of the venue is 32.702.
The club have numerous rivalries, but the most notable one is the rivalry with their city neighbors Sheffield Wednesday. The two teams face each other in the Steel City derby and it has to be noted that United share rivalry with the likes of Barnsley, Rotherham United, Doncaster Rovers and Leeds United as well.
