Our prediction for this Primera Division match:
Sunday’s football game at Estadio de los Juegos Mediterraneos pits together Almeria and Real Sociedad, the two teams who sit in the opposite halves of the table. Almeria are only five points clear of the relegation zone, but, no doubt, they would be happy with one point from the match. Rodrigo Ely is back from suspension, but fellow defender Ivan Martos has yet to recover from an ACL injury.
La Real, on the other hand, aim to build on back-to-back wins over Sevilla and Osasuna. The Basques are eager to stay in the Champions League berth, and given their fine away record (5-0-2) in the 2022/2023 season, we predict that Imanol Alguacil’s men are going to pick up all three points from the match. Brais Mendez is banned for the visitors, but fellow midfielder Mikel Merino returns to the starting XI after serving his one-game ban in a 2-0 win over Osasuna.
