Athletic Club will be looking to keep their 100% record in the new La Liga season intact when they face Deportivo Alaves in the Basques derby. The Lions are brimming with confidence ahead of Saturday’s clash, but it has to be noted that star player Nico Williams suffered a muscle injury in Spain’s 6-0 win over Turkey at the weekend. As a result, the pacey winger is rated doubtful for the local derby.
The visitors, on the other hand, have been having their ups and downs in the early stages of the season. As Alaves continue with their old habit of producing much better showings at home than on the travels, we are tempted to place our bets on Ernesto Valverde’s troops. Adding to their woes, left back Moussa Diarra has joined the likes of Pastor, Ramon Enriquez, and Luismi in the Alaves treatment room.

Inaki Williams is one of the most talented Spanish players. The pacey winger, who plays as a centre-forward as well, started his senior career at Basconia, scoring seven goals in 18 appearances for the club. In 2014 he moved to Athletic Bilbao, but he played for the reserve team at the beginning.
Inaki impressed in the 2014/2015 season with Athletic Bilbao B and, as a result, he was given a chance to prove his worth in the Spanish top flight with the first team. The Spanish footballer made his La liga debut on December 6, 2014, replacing injured attacker Aritz Aduriz in a 1-0 loss to Cordoba.
Inaki Williams represented Spain at the 2017 U21 European Championship in Poland and he played 20 minutes in a 1-0 loss to Germany in the final of the tournament. Speaking of the senior squad, the Athletic Bilbao footballer made his Spain debut in a 3-1 victory over Bosnia on May 29, 2016. Inaki Williams was born in Bilbao on June 15, 1994.

Alaves is a Spanish football club located in Vitoria-Gasteiz, Alava. The club were founded in 1921 and they play their home games at Estadio Mendizorrotza. The capacity of the stadium is 19,840 and it has to be noted that it is the third oldest stadium in Spanish football. After spending several years in the Spanish Segunda Division, los Babazorros returned to the top flight in 2016.
