Our prediction for this Primera Division match:
Barcelona will be looking to build on a 2-0 win over Osasuna when they take on Huesca on Monday evening. Barca aim to melt Atletico Madrid’s advantage in the La Liga standings, and they have no other choice but to go all guns blazing at the relegation strugglers. The likes of Coutinho, Fati, Roberto, Araujo, and Pique remain in the recovery room, while Jordi Alba should be fit to face Huesca.
Pacheta’s men, on the other hand, experienced all sorts of problems at the back in a 4-3 loss to Celta Vigo, and we do not believe that they are capable of spoiling Barcelona’s party at Camp Nou. The likes of Luisinho, Mosquera, Silva, and Valera are all likely to miss the game with injuries for the visiting team. You should bear in mind that Leo Messi and Co. crushed Huesca 8-2 in their previous meeting at Camp Nou in the Spanish elite division.
Highlighted Player (Lionel Messi):
Lionel Messi is regarded as one of the best players in the history of football. He was born on 24 June, 1987 in Rosario and he began his football career at Newell’s Old Boys. At age 10 he was diagnosed with a growth hormone deficiency, but having realized his potential at a young age, Barcelona decided to pay for his treatment.
Messi joined Barca in 2001 and he has been playing for the Camp Nou outfit ever since. The Argentine magician has won eight La Liga trophies with Barca and he helped the Catalan giants lift no less than four Champions League titles (2005/2006, 2008/2009, 2010/2011, 2014/2015).
In the 2011/2012 La Liga campaign Messi scored 50 goals for Barca, while netting 14 goals in the 2011/2012 Champions League campaign. The five-time Golden Ball award winner has established himself as Barcelona’s all-time top scorer, but he has yet to win a trophy with Argentina national team at major tournaments. Leo Messi, though, has won Olympic Gold Medal (2008) and FIFA World Youth Championship (2005), with la Albiceleste.
Highlighted Team (Huesca):
Huesca are a Spanish club that compete in La Liga, the Spanish top flight. The club was originally founded in 1910, but in 1940 it was renamed Union Deportiva. In 1956 the club disappeared due to financial problems, but four years later Sociedad Deportiva Huesca was born. Huesca are well known for their blaugrana colors as their founding members were Barcelona fans.
The club welcome their rivals at El Alcoraz and it has to be noted that the capacity of the stadium is 5,500. Despite the fact that El Alcoraz can hold up to 5,500 people in December 2014 7,600 spectators watched the game between Huesca and Barcelona. Huesca will make their first ever appearance in Primera Division in the 2018/2019 season.
The likes of Leo Franco, Luis Sastre and Ruben Castro are some of the most notable footballers that played for Huesca. Real Zaragoza are considered Huesca’s main rivals, with the two teams facing each other in Derbi Aragones.
