Rayo Vallecano
Estadio de Balaidos will host Sunday’s football game between Celta Vigo and Rayo Vallecano, the two Europa-League-chasing sides. Os Celeste are on the right track to secure a top-seven finish, but they can’t afford any complacency in the season finale. There are no fresh injury worries in the home team, with experienced left-back Marcos Alonso returning from suspension.
Los Vallecanos, on the other hand, dropped two points in a 2-2 draw with Real Betis, but they are still sitting in the Conference League berth. As both Rayo Vallecano and Celta Vigo should be happy with one point from the Balaidos clash, we are tempted to place our bets on draw. Both Unai Lopez and Oscar Valentin are pushing for recalls to the starting eleven, speaking of the visiting team. It has to be noted that the two teams played out a goalless draw in their last meeting in Galicia.

After spending his youth career at CS Paris-Charenton, UJA AlfortVille and Saint-Etienne, Jonathan Bamba started playing for Saint-Etienne II at senior level. In 2015 he was given a chance to prove his worth with the first team and it has to be noted that he scored eight goals in 42 appearances for les Verts in Ligue 1.
Following his loan spells with Paris, Sint-Truiden and Angers, Jonathan Bamba joined Lille in the summer of 2018. The pacey winger born in Alfortville (France) on March 26, 1996, has been playing for les Dogues ever since, but he has yet to earn a cap for the French national team. Nonetheless, Jonathan Bamba has 12 caps with France U21 in which he scored four goals for les Tricolores.
Jonathan Bamba’s main position is left winger, but he is used as a centre-forward as well. The French footballer, whose preferred foot is right, has a contract with Lille until June 30, 2023.

Rayo Vallecano is a Spanish football club from the Valleas neighbourhood in Madrid and are founded in the year 1924. The club is playing in the Primera Division since 2011 after being in active in the lower divisions for a longer period of time. Rayo Vallecano currently plays it’s home games in the Teresa Rivero Stadium which is also known as the Nuevo Vallecas stadium and holds a capacity of 15 500 seats. The Nuevo Vallecas stadium is one of the smallest ones in the Primera Division. The club colors of Rayo Vallecano are white and red and is also known as Los Vallecanos. Rayo Vallecano is known for it’s ultra’s which are radical left winged political sided.
In the clubs history Rayo Vallecano never won any big prizes. The biggest achievement was in 2000 when the club qualified for the UEFA Cup after winning the Fair Play spot. Rayo Vallecano was one of the biggest surprises in Europe that season and even managed to get to the quarter finals where Rayo got eliminated by Deportivo Alaves.
