Sunday’s football game at Estadio de Balaidos pits together Celta Vigo and Valencia, the two teams who are almost level on points in the La Liga standings. Os Celeste did well to beat Alaves on the road at the weekend, with the team putting an end to their four-game winless run. Iago Aspas is not getting any older, and the former Liverpool man, who scored the winner against Alaves, will be the man to watch in the home team.
Los Che, on the other hand, made a promising start to the season, but they do not seem to be at their sharpest ahead of the trip to Galicia. Valencia recorded only one win from the previous eleven league fixtures, and given Celta’s signs of improvement, the visitors are unlikely to grab something from Sunday’s clash. Defender Gabriel Paulista should be the only absentee in the away team.

Hugo Mallo is a Spanish footballer who plays for Celta Vigo as a full back. Mallo, who is a capable of playing at centre back if needed, was born in Marin on 22 June, 1991 and he has been playing for Os Celeste since 2009.
During his youth career Hugo Mallo played for the likes of Porvir and Pontevedra, but he made the biggest progress at Celta Vigo. The Celta defender has three caps for Spain U21 team and he played for the U19 and the U20 teams as well in the past. On 9 January, 2013, Mallo suffered a serious knee injury and, as a result, he was forced to miss the rest of the season.
The right-footed player has a contract with Celta Vigo which expires on 30 June, 2019. You should bear in mind that he scored one goal in 34 appearances for the Galician outfit in the 2015/2016 Primera Division campaign. In the 2014/2015 campaign he scored four goals for Celta in the national championship.

Founded on March 18, 1919, Valencia FC are a Spanish football club that compete in La Liga. Los Che play their home games at Estadio de Mestalla, the stadium which was opened back in May, 1923. The capacity of the venue is 50,000. Seeing that bats are quite common in Valencia, it is no surprise they are nicknamed the Bats.
Valencia made it to the Champions League final on two occasions (2000, 2001), but they were beaten in the title games by Real Madrid and Bayern Munchen respectively. The Spanish club, though, did well to win the UEFA Cup title in the 2003/2004 season, with the team beating Marseille in the final of the competition.
A number of top-class footballers were part of the club in the past, with the likes of Pablo Aimar, Ruben Baraja, David Albelda, Santiago Canizares, John Carew and Gaizka Mendieta all playing for the Estadio de Mestalla outfit.
