Rayo Vallecano
Estadio Municipal de Montilivi will host Wednesday’s La Liga game between Girona and Rayo Vallecano. The Catalans are eager to put an end to their three-game losing run in Primera Division and they are likely to fight tooth and nail against los Vallecanos. Both Portu and Ricard Artero are out of contention with injuries, while fit-again midfielder Yangel Herrera should be recalled to the starting XI.
The capital club, on the other hand, produced a fine display in a 1-1 draw with Atletico Madrid in the local derby. Rayo, though, are not regarded as good travellers and we do not believe that they are capable of spoiling Girona’s party at Estadio Municipal de Montilivi. In their last meeting at the venue Girona outplayed Rayo Vallecano 3-0, which surely goes in favour of our earlier prediction. Diego Mendez and Alfonso Espino should be the only absentees in the away team.

Cristhian Stuani is considered one of the best Uruguay attackers. Stuani was born on 12 October, 1986 and he began his senior career at Danubio. He impressed with the Uruguayan outfit, scoring 23 goals in 36 appearances for the club and, as a result, he became a target for a number of top European clubs.
In 2008 he signed a contract with Reggina, but he failed to impress in 17 appearances for the Italian team. After spending the 2012/2013 season on loan at Espanyol, Christian Stuani signed a permanent deal with the Catalan side in 2013. Stuani scored 12 goals in 37 league appearances for Espanyol in the 2014/2015 Primera Division campaign, but at the end of the season he moved to Middlesbrough for a reported €3 million fee.
The 186-cm-tall striker made his Uruguay debut on 14 November, 2012 in a friendly win over Poland. Stuani also represented la Celeste at the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.

Rayo Vallecano is a Spanish football club from the Valleas neighbourhood in Madrid and are founded in the year 1924. The club is playing in the Primera Division since 2011 after being in active in the lower divisions for a longer period of time. Rayo Vallecano currently plays it’s home games in the Teresa Rivero Stadium which is also known as the Nuevo Vallecas stadium and holds a capacity of 15 500 seats. The Nuevo Vallecas stadium is one of the smallest ones in the Primera Division. The club colors of Rayo Vallecano are white and red and is also known as Los Vallecanos. Rayo Vallecano is known for it’s ultra’s which are radical left winged political sided.
In the clubs history Rayo Vallecano never won any big prizes. The biggest achievement was in 2000 when the club qualified for the UEFA Cup after winning the Fair Play spot. Rayo Vallecano was one of the biggest surprises in Europe that season and even managed to get to the quarter finals where Rayo got eliminated by Deportivo Alaves.
