Mallorca will be desperate to record their first win of the season when they take on Deportivo Alaves in the La Liga round 7. Los Bermellones suffered a 1-0 loss to Real Sociedad on Wednesday evening and it has to be noted that they had no more than seven goal attempts in the midweek defeat. With Omar Mascarell limping off with injury against La Real, Samu Costa is widely expected to return to the starting XI.
The Basques, on the other hand, have been having their ups and downs of late, with the team beating Athletic Club, losing to Sevilla, while sharing the spoils with Getafe. Anyhow, home win should be considered this time out as Mallorca want this triumph more than Alaves. Forward Carlos Vicente is widely expected to return to the starting XI, while there are no fresh injury worries in the visiting team ahead of the trip to the Balearic Islands.

Los Bermellones returned to the Spanish top flight following a six-year absence.
