Our prediction for this Primera Division match:
After sharing the spoils with newcomers Las Palmas in their opener, Mallorca will look to give fans some cheer when they face Villarreal in their first home game of the season. Los Bermellones continue to rely on towering centre-forward Vedad Muriqi and even though the Kosovo striker failed to convert a penalty against Las Palmas, the opposition back-line should have him at bay. Antonio Rallo is pushing for a start after scoring as a substitute at the weekend, while there are no fresh injury worries in the home team.
The Yellow Submarine, on the other hand, suffered a 2-1 loss to Real Betis on Matchday 1, but it has to be noted that they dominated the match. Villarreal are more of a team than Mallorca and even though left-back Alberto Moreno suffered an injury against los Beticos, away win should be considered. Midfielder Francis Coquelin is yet another absentee in the away team.
