After suffering a 2-1 loss to Getafe on Matchday 5, Real Sociedad will look to get back on course when they welcome Espanyol to their Reale Arena on Sunday evening. The Basques are still looking for their best form, and, no doubt, this match could be the turning point for the home side. Summer signing Umar Sadiq suffered a knee injury, which will keep him out of the pitch for one month. France teenager Mohamed-Ali Cho is likely to step up.
The Catalan outfit, on the other hand, experienced all sorts of problems at the back in a 3-2 loss to ten-man Sevilla, which is probably the main reason why home win should be considered. All Ruben Sanchez, Jose Carlos Lazo, and Adria Pedrosa are out of contention through injuries for the visiting side.
