Real Sociedad will look to build on a routine 3-0 win over Leganes when they take on Las Palmas in the Primera Division round 17. The Basques are eyeing their third consecutive win at home and they are seen as hot favourites to pick up all three points from Sunday’s encounter. Ander Barrenetxea is pushing for a recall after scoring as a substitute in the last league match and is likely to replace suspended ace Brais Mendez in the starting XI.
La Union Deportiva, on the other hand, have been showing signs of improvement of late, beating both Barcelona and Real Valladolid in the last two league matches, but they will have a big fish to fry in San Sebastian. As Real Sociedad have found their best form of late, we predict that Sandro Ramirez and Co. are going to return home with their hands empty.
