Our prediction for this Primera Division match:
Buoyed by a morale-boosting win over Cadiz, Sevilla will look to give fans yet another reason for celebration when they take on Elche in the La Liga round 19. Los Sevillanos aim to move away from the danger zone, and we are positive that they will adopt an attack-minded approach against Elche as well. Boss Jorge Sampaoli will have to watch the game from the stands following his sending off in the last league match, while Marcos Acuna returns from suspension.
Both Teixeira Marcao and Jesus Corona remain in the recovery room. Elche, on the other hand, continue to struggling in the 2022/2023 season, with the team still eyeing their first win of the process. Since Sevilla have regained a much-needed confidence, we are tempted to put our money on the home side. The likes of Quina, Collado, Chetauya, and Alamo are out of contention with injuries, speaking of the away side.
Highlighted Player (Thomas Delaney):
The captain of the Danish heavyweights F.C. Copenhagen, Thomas Delaney is a 25-year-old midfielder who has spent his entire professional career with the Club of the City. His F.C. Copenhagen career started in 2009 when he marked his full first team debut with a goal in the Champions League qualification match against FK Mogren.
Full Denmark international, Delaney has come up the ranks of the national team to be given his first senior cap in 2013. With over 160 appearances for F.C. Copenhagen, Thomas Delaney has been a long-serving soldier of the Danish powerhouse and a fan favourite respected for his hard-work and team ethics.
Highly experienced professional despite his relatively tender age, Thomas Delaney was sold to Bundesliga giants Werder Bremen in the summer of 2016. However, he remains devoted to his childhood club’s cause both domestically and in the UEFA Champions League as his transfer to Germany comes through in January 2017.
