Our prediction for this Scottish Premiership match:
Following a routine 3-0 win over Hearts in the Scottish Cup quarter-finals, Celtic will look to give fans yet another reason to celebrate when they take on Hibernian on Matchday 29. The Hoops are on the right track to defend their trophy, and they are seen as hot favourites to beat the Hibs in front of home fans. James Forrest misses out with injury, while Saturday’s game comes too early for James McCarthy.
The visitors, on the other hand, experienced all sorts of problems at the back in a 4-1 loss to Rangers, and given Celtic’s 13-game winning run in all competitions, anything but a routine home victory would be a major surprise. In their last meeting in Glasgow Celtic hammered Hibernian 6-1, and we predict that history is going to repeat itself. The likes of Kyle Magennis, Jake Doyle-Hayes, Joe Newell, Aiden McGeady, Rocky Bushiri, and Martin Boyle remain in the recovery room.
