Our prediction for this Scottish Premiership match:
Kilmarnock and Dundee United face each other at Rugby Park in what is expected to be a close season opener. Kilmarnock impressed in the Championship last season, with the team returning to the Scottish top flight following a one-year absence, and, no doubt, they will give 100% to get off to a flying start. The club chiefs did well to keep hold of top scorer Oliver Shaw, who is likely to prove a handful for the opposition defenders.
The Terriers, on the other hand, were beaten by both Sunderland (0-2) and Fleetwood (1-2) in pre-season, which is probably the main reason why we are going to put our money on the Killies this time out. Midfielder Peter Pawlett continues to miss out with injury, while there are no selection worries in the home team ahead of Saturday’s clash.
