Our prediction for this Scottish Premiership match:
St Johnstone and Kilmarnock square off at McDiarmid Park, both eager to bounce back from disappointing performances before the international break. The Saints continue to deal with injury woes, with Ross Sinclair, Cameron MacPherson, Sam McClelland, and Uche Ikpeazu all sidelined. Despite their struggles, Steven MacLean’s side will look to exploit their home advantage and put an end to their goal-scoring drought.
Kilmarnock, on the other hand, are aiming to recover from a 2-0 defeat to Celtic. Although the Killie showed moments of promise in that game, they lacked cutting edge in the final third. It has to be noted, though, that their challenge is compounded by the absence of injured duo Stuart Findlay – Kyle Magennis. Both teams have shown defensive vulnerabilities in recent weeks, and with a point to prove on either side, this clash has the makings of an open and entertaining affair. Taking everything into account, we predict that both sides are going to find the net in Saturday's clash.
