Our prediction for this Scottish Premiership match:
Following a 1-0 loss to Livingston, St. Mirren will look to give fans some cheer when they take on St Johnstone in the Premiership round 27. The Saints are eager to secure a top-six finish at the end of the season and they will not have a better opportunity than this to return to winning ways in the Scottish top flight. James Bolton is back from suspension, but all Mark O’Hara, Conor McMenamin, and Ryan Strain remain in the recovery room.
The other Saints, meanwhile, suffered a dip in form and given their three-game losing run in the national championship, anything but a routine home win would be a big surprise. Even though there are no fresh injury worries in the visiting team, we are tempted to put our money on Stephen Robinson’s troops this time out. The likes of Cameron MacPherson, Ross Sinclair, Drey Wright, and Alistair Crawford are injured for the visiting side.
