Our prediction for this Segunda Division match:
All eyes will be on Estadio de los Juegos Mediterraneos when Almeria and Zaragoza take on each other in a small Andalusian derby. Almeria are on the right track to return to La Liga, but the league leaders can’t afford any complacency in the remainder of the season. The Red and Whites are eyeing their eighth home win of the season, but given Zaragoza’s current form this will be anything but a walk in the park for the hosts. Juan Villar is pushing for a rare start after the veteran forward found the net in a 1-1 draw with Fuenlabrada, while Umar Sadiq will be the man to watch in the home team.
Los Blanquillos, on the other hand, made a slow start to the season, but they seem to be in a fine form ahead of the local derby. Zaragoza did well to beat promotion-chasing Eibar thanks to Alejandro Frances’ goal, but they will have a much bigger fish to fry against Almeria. A close encounter is on the cards at Estadio de los Juegos Mediterraneos, and we are tempted to put our money on draw.
