Our prediction for this Segunda Division match:
Cartagena will be aiming to stay in the playoffs berth when they face Malaga on day 14 of the new La Liga 2 campaign. The Black and Whites have been having their ups and downs of late, with the team beating Ibiza, losing to Las Palmas, while sharing the spoils with Granada in their last league match. Cartagena are after their fourth home win of the process, and boss Luis Carrion is unlikely to make changes to the team that played out the goalless draw with los Granadinos.
Los Boquerones, on the other hand, are stuck at the bottom with only nine point in their pocket. The rock-bottom side are desperate to grab something from the midweek clash, but given their difficulties in front of goal, home win should be considered. Both Moussa Diarra and Victor Olmo are out of contention with injuries for the away team.
