Our prediction for this Segunda Division match:
Lugo and Almeria face each other at Estadio Anxo Carro in a postponed La Liga2 game. Lugo continue with their habit of producing much better showings at home than on the travels, and they are likely to rely on their rock-solid defence. Defender Alex Perez, who limped off with injury in a 2-1 win over Mirandes, is unlikely to feature in the midweek clash. Anyhow, you should know that Lugo are undefeated in the previous seven league matches.
The Andalusians, on the other hand, aim to retain top position in the standings, but seeing that key attacker and top scorer Umar Sadiq is on international duty with Nigeria, we are tempted to put our money on draw. In his absence, Belgium striker Largie Ramazani is widely expected to lead the line for the visitors. In the first half of the season Almeria rolled over Lugo 4-1, but a close encounter is on the cards this time out.
Highlighted Player (Manu Barreiro):

He scored 11 goals for the club in the 2014/2015 campaign and he netted five goals in 32 appearances for El Glorioso in the 2015/2016 Segunda Division campaign, helping the team secure promotion to La Liga.
Manu Barreiro won Segunda Division B with Cadiz in the 2008/2009 season. Manu Barreiro is a centre forward, but he is capable of playing as a left winger as well. His contract with Alaves expires on 30 June, 2017.
Highlighted Team (Almeria):
UD Almeria is a Spanish club based in the autonomous community of Andalusia. Los Rojiblancos are one of the newer additions to the Spanish football system, with the club being founded on July 26, 1989.
Almeria suffered relegation to Segunda Division in the 2014/15 season, and they have been competing in the Spanish second tier ever since. Los Rojiblancos are well known for their white shirts with red stripes, while blue is the dominant colour of their away jersey. Sofiane Feghouli, Felipe Melo, Diego Alves, Veljko Paunovic, Aleix Vidal, Alvaro Negredo, Tomer Hemed, and Mate Bilic are some notable footballers who played for Almeria in the past. Fellow Andalusian clubs Sevilla, Malaga, and Granada are considered the club’s fiercest rivals.
The club’s biggest success in Copa del Rey came in the 2010/11 season when they made it to the semis of the prestigious competition. Nonetheless, Catalan giants Barcelona proved to be a big catch for Almeria in the Spanish Cup semi-finals.
