Our prediction for this Segunda Division match:
Sunday’s football at Estadio Nuevo Carlos Tartiere pits together Oviedo and Ponferradina, the two teams who sit in the opposite halves of the table. Los Azules are eyeing their fourth consecutive league win and they must be high on confidence ahead of Matchday 38. The opposition back-line should have Sergi Enrich at bay as the former Eibar striker scored a brace in a 2-1 win over Ibiza, while all Borja Baston, Rodrigo Tarin, and Jimmy Suarez remain in the treatment room. Midfielder Luismi is banned for the match.
La Ponfe, meanwhile, are desperate to secure yet another La Liga 2 survival, but given their shaky defence, we predict that the hosts are going to pick up all three points from the match. Forward Derik Lacerda is banned for the match, with defender Paris Adot missing out through suspension as well. Both Nwakali and Naranjo are pushing for a start.
