Estadio El Sardinero will host Saturday’s Segunda Division game between Racing Santander and Mirandes. The hosts aim to return to winning ways following a goalless draw with Malaga and it has to be noted that they are eyeing their fifth home win of the process. Inigo Vicente serves a one-match ban due to the accumulation of yellow cards, but defender Manu is back from suspension.
Los Rojillos, on the other hand, aim to build on back-to-back wins over Castellon and Eldense. Mirandes aim to overtake Almeria in second place in the standings, but given their ups and downs on the road, we are tempted to bet on the league leaders this time out. Mirandes is a Spanish club founded on May 3, 1927. Los Rojillos compete in Segunda division, with the team still eyeing their first ever promotion to La Liga. Mirandes’ home colours are red and black, while their away kit is mainly light blue.
Mirandes did remarkably well to make it to the Copa del Rey semis in the 2019/20 season, with the team outplaying the likes of Celta, Villarreal, and Sevilla in the process. Real Sociedad, though, proved to be a big catch for Mirandes in the Spanish Cup semis. Los Rojillos welcome their rivals at Estadio Municipal de Anduva.
