Our prediction for this Serie B match:
Following back-to-back defeats to Pisa (1-3) and Sampdoria (3-5), Cesena will look to return to winning ways in the Serie B when they face Brescia on Saturday afternoon. The Bianconeri have been struggling at the back of late, conceding eight goals in total in the last two league games and, no doubt, they are low on spirits ahead of the visit of Brescia. Sierra Leone international Augustus Kargbo is banned for the match, while there are no fresh injury concerns in the home team.
Le Rondinelle, on the other hand, experienced all sorts of problems at the back in a 5-2 loss to Sassuolo. As both Brescia and Cesena have been involved in some high-scoring games of late, we believe that there is a big value in betting on both teams to score. Brescia head coach Rolando Maran should have a full squad to choose from for Saturday’s encounter.
Highlighted Team (Brescia):
Hosting their rivals at Stadio Mario Rigamonti, the stadium with the capacity of 16,743, Brescia are Italian team founded back in 1911 under the name of Brescia Football Club. Le Rondinelle are well known for their blue and white shirts, but white is dominant colour in their away kit.
Atalanta are considered one of the club’s fiercest rivals, with the two teams facing each other in the Derby of Lombardy. The Stadio Mario Rigamonti outfit have rivalries with the likes of Inter, Hellas Verona and Cremonese as well. Roberto Baggio, who has 56 caps with the Italy national football team, is considered the most famous footballer who played for Brescia.
Robi scored 45 goals in 95 appearances in the Serie A for le Rondinelle. It has to be noted that the likes of Andrea Pirlo, Gheorge Hagi, Pep Guardiola, Luca Toni, Luigi Di Biagio and Dario Hubner were part of Brescia in the past as well. However, Mario Rigamonti is the club’s biggest legend as he died in the Superga air disaster back in 1949.
