Our prediction for this Serie B match:
Cosenza will look to build on their recent 2-1 victory over Sampdoria as they welcome Sassuolo at Stadio San Vito. The Rossoblu managed to put an end to their three-game winless run with that win but face a tough challenge against a Sassuolo side that impressed in their recent 2-0 triumph over Carrarese. Cosenza will be without injured midfielder Jahce Novello, while defender Bright Gyamfi is rated doubtful for the match.
Sassuolo, on the other hand, will be without long-term absentee Domenico Berardi, but their attacking options remain strong. With both teams showing good form in front of goal, this could be an open encounter. Expect a competitive game, with both sides likely to find the back of the net. A “both teams to score” prediction seems a solid choice, given their recent performances. When the two teams met in the Coppa Italia last year Sassuolo defeated Cosenza 5-2 after extra-time.
