Crotone will look to make amends for a 1-0 loss to Cosenza when they take on Ascoli at their Stadio Ezio Scida on Saturday afternoon. The Rossoblu are eager to record their first home win of the season, and they are likely to go all guns blazing at Ascoli. Since Augustus Kargbo is the only absentee in the home team, home win should be considered. The visitors, on the other hand, experienced all sorts of problems at the back in a 3-2 loss to Brescia.
Important midfielder Marcel Buchel misses the game through suspension, which is yet another reason why we are going to put our money on the home side. Both Anastasios Avlonitis and Dario Saric remain in the recovery room, while Abdelhamid Sabiri is a major doubt. In their last meeting in the Italian second tier the two sides played out a 1-1 draw.

Alex Cordaz is an Italian goalkeeper who plays for Crotone, who returned to the Serie A at the end of the 2015/2016 season. Cordaz was born in Vittorio Veneto on 1 January 1983 and he started his youth career at Inter. He played one game for the Nerazzurri in the Serie A and in 2006 he joined Treviso.
After making 18 league appearances for the club from 2006 to 2009, he joined with Swiss side Lugano on a free transfer. The 188-cm-tall goalkeeper played 56 league games for Lugano and in 2011 he returned to Italy as he signed a contract with Cittadella. As expected, he established himself as a first-choice goalkeeper and he made no less than 80 league appearances for the club between 2011 and 2013.
Alex Cordaz currently plays for Crotone and it has to be noted that he made 42 appearances for the club in the 2015/2016 Serie B campaign.
