Our prediction for this Serie B match:
All eyes will be on Stadio Benito Stirpe when Frosinone and Sampdoria go head to head in the Serie B opener. Frosinone experienced all sorts of problems at the back in a 3-0 Coppa Italia loss to Pisa, but they are surely capable of matching La Samp in front of home fans. The Canarini boss Vincenzo Vivarini should have a full squad to choose from, including summer loanee Giuseppe Ambrosino, who is expected to play some part in Sunday’s clash.
The visitors, on the other hand, are determined to return to the Italian top flight. Italy football legend Andrea Pirlo is still in charge of the team and his men must be high on confidence following the Italian Cup triumph over Como. A man watch in the away team will be experienced striker Massimo Coda, who scored 17 goals for Cremonese last season.
